Alok is working on the post of class IV in Panchayati Raj Department in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh and is working as a sweeper while his wife Jyoti Maurya became SDM after cracking PCS and is currently posted as GM in Bareilly Sugar Mill.

According to Alok Maurya, he married with Jyoti Maurya in year 2010. In the year 2015, Jyoti Maurya gave birth to twin daughters. Alok Maurya alleged that since 2020, his wife Jyoti Maurya has had an illicit relationship with Home Guard Commandant Manish Dubey.
Accusing his wife, Alok Maurya said, “She is a big officer, so no one is listening to me”. Alok also said that his brother-in-law Sachin Maurya is after his life as Sachin has threatened to kill him if he if he does not divorce Jyoti.
Alok further alleged that his wife Jyoti had also threatened to implicate him if he does not divorce her.
Alok Maurya added that Jyoti and her lover Manish Dubey had conspired to kill him.
Alok has filed complaint at Dhumanganj police station, and also at the Home Guard Headquarters. He has also presented some WhatsApp chats in his complaint. However, Jyoti has denied these allegations.

On all these allegations, Jyoti Maurya says that I am having a family dispute with Alok Maurya, in which I have filed a divorce case pending in the family court. Besides this, Alok Maurya wrongly hacked my mobile and WhatsApp, so I complained to the Dhumanganj police station of Prayagraj. Amid all these actions, all kinds of allegations are being levelled.

According to Alok he was selected in 2009 in Panchayat Raj Department in Pratapgarh and got married with Jyoti on February 19, 2010, and they both were living happily. The family was doing well. Meanwhile, Jyoti told him that she wanted to study further. For this, he arranged facilities for her to stay at Prayagraj and also enrolled her to a best coaching centre with the help of his family. She studied hard and scored 16th rank and secured the post of SDM in 2015.”
Alok Maurya said, “Everything was going well, but in 2020, the District Commandant, Home Guard entered my laughing family. With whom Jyoti Maurya was having an illicit relationship. I came to know about the illicit relationship on February 22. Since then, Jyoti has been after my life.”
Jyoti files case against Alok
“No dowry complaint from 2010 to 2023”, said Alok. He added that, Jyoti has filed cases to force him to divorce her and also to harass him.
Jyoti Maurya lodged a complaint that Alok was demanding a Fortuner vehicle and Rs 30 lakh from her. On this Alok said that, If dowry has been demanded from his family since 2010 then why didn’t she filed complaint until 2023? However, she has been SDM since 2016.
Alok Maurya said that Jyoti Maurya is seeking a divorce from me, and she is threatening to ruin life. “I complained about this to the commissioner, but there was no hearing.”
