In Rohtak, Haryana, an extramarital affair has gathered a lot of unwanted attention as the wife has been intoxicating her husband with sleeping pills.
The matter spread like fire when in Ritauli village of the district, a married woman mixed poison in her husband’s food and tea. The reason behind this hideous act is her relationship with nephew, which was disapproved of by her husband.
However, the victim was admitted to a private hospital in Rohtak in a serious condition. After regaining consciousness, the victim has accused his wife and her relatives of complicity. Sanjeev, a farmer of Ritauli village, was married in the year 2012 to Nisha of Jatheri village of Sonipat district and are parents of 2 girls and a boy. On January 11, Nisha gave tea to Sanjeev after feeding him and Sanjeev started vomiting blood.
By god’s grace, on January 13, 2022, Sanjeev regained consciousness and recorded his statement in Shivaji Colony police. Sanjeev informed that on January 11, she has been giving him sleeping pills every night by mixing them with food. Along with this, Sanjeev has also been accused of being supported by the family members of the wife in this work.
In the statement given to the police, Sanjeev said that in the year 2019, the wife had an affair with her nephew. There was often a dispute between husband and wife regarding this matter. But at the moment, due to the agreement between the two, they were living a happy life. At the same time, the police have registered a case in this regard under sections 328, 120B, 506 of the IPC. The accused woman is absconding at present.
