Delhi, 9am 25th March, a mother of two, first killed her children and then day after she tried to kill herself.
The family was living at the 3rd floor of a building at N Block, Laxmi Nagar Delhi, the mother identified as Alia. Alia got married to Munawwar 10 years ago.
Neighbors said to media that, She first threw her three year old son to road then the seven year old daughter to the rooftop of the adjacent building. After throwing her both children she also jumped to the adjacent building.
Munawwar is from Bihar and Alia from Mumbai. Munawwar was at his shop at Sadar Bazar, when the incident took place.
Police informed media, that they have recovered suicide note. Alia is going under treatment at Lok Nayak due to injuries and she is unfit for the statement.
Delhi East district, Deputy Commissioner of Police Jasmeet Singh told media that an FIR has been registered under IPC sections 302 and 309. They also told that husband has told that, Alia was suffering from depression and under medication.
Police is also looking at the aspect of domestic violence as the couple used to fight and Alia took the extreme step.
