Asian Rowing Championship: Arvind Singh shines, Team India won 2 gold and 4 silver

In Asian Rowing Championship, Thailand India’s senior star paddler Arvind Singh has created history by winning gold in the lightweight men’s single event. Arvind completed this race in 7:55.942 seconds. He also participated in the Tokyo Olympics in the same year, but he finished at number 11. In the Olympics, Arvind participated in the men’s lightweight double sculls event. Then his partner Arjun Lal was going to Jat. Arjun Lal has won gold in the doubles event of this Asian Championship a day earlier. This feat is won in men’s lightweight double sculls, men’s quadruple sculls and men’s coxless four events.

At the same time, India also got three silver medals in this championship. Overall Team India has won two gold and 4 silver medals in the Asian Championship.
