TCS Employee Manav Sharma Commits Suicide allegedly harassed by Wife

Agra, India – A 30-year-old IT company manager from Agra allegedly took his own life by hanging himself, leaving behind a video message that has gone viral.

Manav Sharma, a recruitment manager at TCS in Mumbai, was found dead in his room on Monday, February 24. His family claims that he was harassed by his wife, whom he married just over a year ago.

In his last video video, recorded before his death, Sharma narrated his ordeal, saying, “Please think of men too… Men are very lonely.” He apologized to his parents, stating that everything would be fine once he was gone.

According to other news, Sharma’s wife has denied all allegations, labeling him an alcoholic. However, Sharma’s family disputes this claim, saying that he was a victim of domestic harassment.

The family initially tried to file a complaint with the Sadar Police but was unsuccessful. They eventually escalated the matter to the Chief Minister’s portal, prompting the Agra Sadar police to register a case on Thursday night.

The incident draws parallels with the Atul Subhash suicide case, another IT employee who died by suicide after a failed marriage. The police have started investigation into the matter.
