An unimaginable incident happened in Etah district, Uttar Pradesh where a bride garlanded one groom but married to the other groom on same day.
It is reported that two grooms reached to the bride’s house with procession to marry the same bride. The Bride garlanded to one while married to other groom. The villagers have accused the girl’s family of duping people on the pretext of marriage.
The police had to intervene in the matter after the first groom and family created a ruckus. The police arrested the first groom’s family, and it is also reported that the father and uncle of the girl were taken to custody and later interrogated.
The incident happened in Siron village comes under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali Dehat police. The matter became the subject of panic among the villagers. There have been no reports of physical abuse or fighting of any kind.
