Bollywood popular actor Vijay Raaj has been arrested by the Gondia police from a hotel in Gondia for allegedly molesting a female crew member during the shoot of the upcoming film Sherni.
Both the actor and the female Co-star were staying in the same hotel. The female Co-star filed a complaint in the Monday night. Later the police arrested the Actor on Tuesday morning on the complaint of the woman.
The case has been registered against Vijay Raaj under Section 354 (A and D) of the Indian Penal Court and he was later produced before the court.
The investigation officer of Ram Nagar police station of Gondia, Pramod Ghonge said that, “the police have booked the actor after getting a formal complaint from the woman. He was booked under the section of 354 (A and D) of the Indian Penal Code and produced before the local court. He was later released on bail”, Hindustan Times published.
Following tthe arrest of the actor, the shooting of the film put on hold.
