Haryana’s Gurugram Police on Wednesday arrested 20-year-old Delhi University student Ayushi Bhatia for allegedly extorting money from a young man.
According to the report, this young man was the eighth prey of accused woman Ayushi Bhatia.
So far, Ayushi has registered 7 rape cases against eight different boys in seven different police stations of Gurugram in the last 15 months. However, before Ayushi succeeded
with the eighth boy who also became a victim of Ayushi’s allegations like the rest of the boys, Ayushi’s was exposed and arrested. An investigation by the police revealed that Ayushi’s mother and an uncle also assisted Ayushi in extorting money by blackmailing the boys. However, the police have not been able to find Ayushi’s uncle and mother yet.
According to the Indian Express, ACP Crime Preet Pal Sangwan said that an FIR was lodged against the accused woman by a person from Karnal on 23 December. In which he informed that the accused woman demands money by blackmailing him in the name of marriage. Police also said that the woman had also filed a false case of rape against the youth of Karnal in October at the DLF Phase-3 police station for refusing to marry.
During interrogation, accused Ayushi told that she has registered eight rape cases against different boys in different police stations of Gurgaon with a sole motive to extort money by blackmailing and his mother and uncle were also involved in this. The police further investigation is ongoing.
