Mob Lynching has become a matter of concern in current times. Every other day one or two incidents of Mob Lynching is in the spotlight. To put an end to such terrible accidents on December 21, 2021, Jharkhand Assembly has regulated the Mob Lynching Prevention Bill 2021. However, there seems to be no end to such an incident and people are killed in the name of the so-called justice.
A recent incident of mob lynching has shaken up the core of the resident of Karma village when a young man was found hanged on a tree upside down. It comes across as a matter of a love affair and the incident gathered attention when the video went viral. This matter is about five-six days old. And after the video went viral on Wednesday, the Lesliganj police have become active and has registered a case in the Lesliganj police station area in Palamu, Jharkhand. It is being notified that the villagers have assaulted the young man by hanging him upside down from a tree, accusing him of a love affair and molestation. The villagers had seen the young man and the girl in an objectionable position.
The police have started an investigation based on the viral video considering it prime evidence. In the investigation, it is being learned that the family members of the accused.
Here, the Lesliganj police station in-charge of Gautam Kumar Rai said a statement will be taken in the matter after visiting his house and action will be taken against the culprits. He said that in the initial investigation it has come to the notice that the matter is of a love affair.
