An incident of murder from Palwal city police station has came into highlight from the village Alhapur where wife killed her husband with lover.
Gopal, the victim was killed due to illicit relations. The police have arrested four accused including the wife of the deceased in the case. Police have produced the woman in court and sent her to judicial custody, while three other accused have been taken on two-day police remand. At the same time, the police are looking for the fifth accused.
DSP Yashpal Khatana said that on December 5, the body of Gopal, a resident of the village, was found near the Alhapur bridge. In the case, a resident of village Pelak filed a complaint that his younger sister Preeti was married to Gopal in village Alhapur about 13 years ago. On December 2, when he had gone to meet his sister and brother-in-law Gopal at their house in Alhapur, Gopal told him that Sumeri, Mahavir, Dinesh and some others stopped and threatened him. Based on the complaint, the police registered a case and started an investigation. During the investigation, Bijendra, a resident of village Patli Khurd, was taken into custody and interrogated, he told that there is a love affair with Preeti, the wife of the deceased. Gopal was becoming a hindrance in the love affair, due to which he killed Gopal along with his companions Ravi and Patali Khurd, resident of Ashok and an accused resident Paigalatu. The police arrested Preeti, Ashok and Ravi, the wife of the deceased involved in the case.
