In the Jakohra police station area of Lalitpur in UP, a case of murder has baffled the people. The stepmother killed the eight-year-old child and threw the body in the well.
Gajendra Rajput, a resident of village Vinekatoran in the police station area, had gone to water his field on Saturday morning. When he returned home his first wife’s eight-year-old son Shivam was missing from the house. Gajendra thought that the son must have gone to play somewhere in the village. But when he did not return till noon, everyone searched for him. Gajendra asked his wife (stepmother of the child) where the son was. After this, he got suspicious and then searched about the villagers.
The family’s suspicion led to the well built behind the house where the water of the well was taken out and there Shivam’s body was found lying. Whose family members informed the police station. The police took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem.
