Young Indians are dominating the business world these days. As per a report, the combined market value of the American tech companies which are currently being handled by Indians is around 5 trillion USA whereas India’s GDP is only 2.7 trillion. This implies that these companies are almost double the size of the Indian economy.
Parag Agrawal has become the fifth Indian
After becoming Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has become the fifth Indian to head an American technology giant.
Parag is not the only Indian on the list: Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Adobe’s Shantanu Narayan, International Business Machines’ Arvind Krishna and Alphabet’s Sundar Pichai’s are also on the list.
According to a Bloomberg report, the market value of these top companies is about 5 trillion.
Indra Nooyi topped PepsiCo for 12 years
Not only Indians are holding senior positions in Technology companies but also holding senior positions in other big companies one such example is Indra Nooyi. She has been in a leadership position at PepsiCo for almost 12 years. Ajay Banga, the former CEO of Mastercard, is currently the Executive Chairman.
Most of the CEOs have studied from IIT in India
Most of these CEOs have studied at IIT in India and are also working in good positions in big companies in America. However, these five Indians working in top tech companies are handling companies of more value than India’s GDP.
