Polio Vaccination postponed due to lack of fund

Government facing crisis in stock of Inactivated Polio Vaccines and Oral Poliovirus Vaccines due to lack of fund and local production. As a result of it, Modi government has to stop National immunisation days compaign for Polio which was earlier planned to be started on coming 3rd of Feb.

The Ministry of Health and Family welfare communicated to all state about the delay in compaign except the states who has enough stock of vaccine.

The news went viral after The Print got the access of letter for the delay.

In the matter Jignesh Mevani in a tweet said, it’s an irrational and unscientific vision for future of India of Modi Ji.

The officials of Ministry assured to The Print for stock crisis will be over by March.
