Former MP from Kannur and Kerala Congress President K Sudhakaran, commented “even a woman can perform better” on Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He stated on Wednesday at a protest sponsored by United Democratic Front against the failure in rehabilitation after the flood came last year.
Sudhakaran also said in the protest, Congress had expected an effective and better governance under Pinarayi leadership, but he disappointed.
Sudhakaran later apologies for his statement after the news went viral saying the speech was misinterpreted.
The Tribal leader and activist CK Janu demanded explanation from the party for Sudhakaran statement.
