Activist asking RIght Place to report Male Domestic abuse

NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma replied to a tweet, in a response to the growing voice against domestic abuse on male and senior citizens. In her tweet she replied that “there is right place for everyone”.

During lockdown, there are various news male domestic abuse and many cases of husband killing. So as there is no specific forum for men, the men’s right activist continuously looping Rekha Sharma and National Commission for Women (NCW).

The men’s right activist has seen bothered that as there is “commission of women” due to that women’s issues very seriously taken seriously while violence with male and senior citizens continuously ignored.

In the said tweet, author tries to point out that except young married women everyone are perpetrators. He pointed this concern because NCW continuously raising concern about women harassment in family and due to lack of voice for men, Husband has been treated as perpetrators.

NCW Chairperson Rekha Sharma writes that in the reply of the above tweet that, “it is their mandate to work only for women and they listen both.”

Now after her reply, this becomes clear that violence with men are largely unheard and ignored. Also that what we hear about the women harassment is the one sided, because there is no forum specifically for men to report violence with them.

Now the men’s rights activist asking for the right place for men to report domestic abuse with them.
