Supreme Court issued notice to Senior Advocate Indira Jaising for receiving Foreign Funds

Wednesday, Supreme Court (SC) issued notice to Senior Advocate Indira Jaising and others seeking response in a PIL filed at SC seeking SIT probe.

In the petition, it has been said that Senior Advocate received foreign funds during 2009 to 2014 when she was a Additional Solicitor General (ASG).

The petitioner, Lawyers Voice has filed the petition seeking direction for registration of FIR against the Senior Advocates Indira Jaising, Anand Grover and the NGO Lawyers Collective.

The petitioner has also demanded in petition for the verification of funding pattern and the utilization of the fund, and sought for violation of Income Tax act.

The petition, also referred the suspension of FCRA certificate of their NGO by The Home Ministry in the mid of Year 2016.

They said in pettion that, the further action was not taken due to the malafide reasons. Still the Union of India has not registered the case.

The petitioner has mentioned in petition that, the foreign funded orgenizations are trying to harm the development of Nation. The petitioner said that mushrooming of several such foreign funded organisations has been increasing from last two decades.

The petioners have questioned the activities of such foreign funded organizations and have said that they are putting their efforts to stop development in Nation.

The petitioner alleged such organisations, actually “try to terrorise the system, public functionaries, and work against the interest of the nation”. Barandbench reported

Indira jaisingh have made protest against CJI of molestation case wind up,so this is retaliation.
