Goa Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar was fighting a year of long battle against pancreatic cancer. Parrikar died at 63 at his residence. He was 4-time CM of Goa. He changed politics of Goa entirely.
He was B.Tech In Metallurgical Engg. He was so dedicated towards his work, that after getting little relief in his health, he came to office. He once said that, he will work till his life, and what he said he proved.

BJP started looking for Chief Minister for Goa. BJP has announced that, the new CM may be selected from the current elected members.
Congress has also claimed to form the government as a single largest party of the state.
