Jantar Mantar : Paramilitary Forces Demanded OROP and Status of Martyrs

Sunday at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, the retired personnel of paramilitary forces protested against the government, seeking equal treatment as of Army forces.

They also demanded Status of Martyrs, whenever their Jawan sacrifice life in battle.

Protesters said that, since 2004 they are not getting pension and also raised concern that Government forget the paramilitary forces in OROP (One Rank One Pension).

They also said that, they should be facilitated in the same way as Armed forces given. They demanded, their family be given the salary after any Jawan secrifices life in battle.
