Hyderabad : Dowry Harassment case on Retired High Court Judge

Justice Rama Mohan Rao retired in year 2017, from Chennai High Court. Rao’s daughter-in-law has alleged Dowry harassment and domestic violence by the family.

Saturday, daughter-in-law of retired high court judge, filed the case of dowry harassment, domestic violence and also under Dowry Prohibition act. The case filed against her husband, mother-in-law and father-in-law Mr Rao.

The victim daughter-in-law has reported multiple injuries on her body. She had injury at chest, lip, arm and other parts of her body.

Deccan Chronical reported, that hospital has also issued the medical report as “The patient alleged to have been beaten by husband and in-laws at her house in Journalist Colony, Jubilee Hills. The patient has sustained injuries on her upper lip, chest and back.”

Police has told media that, they will do further investigation based on the complaint, and the family will be called at police station. They have confirmed no arrest in the matter.
