Budget 2019: Big Relief in Tax for Middle class, Pension to Farmers and Workers of Unorganised Sectors

Piyush Goyal appointed as interim Finance minister presented the today’s budget in absence of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, who is out of India for health treatment.

The budget came with relief to middle class families and farmers. The major relief in budget has given on income tax slab which is now made to Rs 5 lakhs and Rs 6000 per year as pension to boost farmers income.

The budget considered as election budget and today announcement will be a turning point for the present government in upcoming elections.

  • Relief on Income tax to Rs 5 lakh for individuals income
  • Pension of Rs 6000 per year for farmers boost
  • Pension of Rs 3000 per year for the worker of unorganized sectors
  • Tax Deduction on House rent revised to Rs 2.4 lakh, earlier it was 1.8 lakh
