Mr. Tulsi also discussed about Hindu matrimonial laws and said that “Hindu matrimonial laws has lost balance and the same forwarded in #TripleTalaqBill (TTT) and it has made even more harsh that, husband will be jailed just on mere allegation of wife. How much these laws will be misused, government have ignored the statistics of last 30 – 40 years over the misuse of law and repeated the same in TTT bill.”

He also mentioned the chances of reunion and said that “When any wife falsely accuses  husband, it ends all possibilities of reunion. All domestic laws are being misused, the crime takes place inside the residential premises, so it does not hold any independent evidence of the crime. Though both husband and wife are responsible for this, but only husband get punished.”

He appealed to government, “to form special commission with the retired judges, psychologist, sociologist to conduct depth research on how to stop false cases.”

Mr. Tulsi also raised concern in Sexual violence act that “Sexual violence act has also lost their balance. The nation become angry over a single rape case and in such situation the government tightens the law. As a result of making harsh laws, there is not space left for the accused person to defend himself.”
