Popular actor Praveen Kumar Sobti, who played the role of Bhima in BR Chopra’s famous serial Mahabharata, has passed away. Praveen breathed his last at the age of 74 and said goodbye to this world forever. Everyone is shocked by the news of Praveen Kumar’s death.

He made the country proud by winning gold medals in the Asian Games of 1966 and 1970. He had an Asian Games record in throwing discus at a distance of 56.76 meters. Praveen Kumar Sobti, who was active in the games, suddenly started having pain in his back, due to which he started having difficulty in doing sports. After earning a name in the world of sports, Praveen Kumar started doing the job of Deputy Commandant in BSF. In the year 1980, he stepped into the world of acting. Because of Praveen Kumar’s stature, he was offered the role of Bhima. He played this character with such enthusiasm that people started knowing him only by the name of Bhima. He acted in more than 30 films in his career.
