Shalini Talwar accuses husband Yo Yo Honey Singh and family of domestic violence

As in most family disputes, wife alleges violence against her husband and also drags his family, the same can be seen in Singh’s case. The matter has come into the limelight due to the famous faces involved in it, and the other reason is that society takes interest in “Ghar-Ghar Ki Kahani“.

In the matter, Yo Yo Honey Singh’s wife has filed a case of Domestic Violence against Mr Singh’s and his parents and sister. Wife Shalini Talwar has accused them of “physical abuse, verbal, mental abuse and emotional abuse”.

As an interim releif to wife Shalini, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Tis Hazari court Tania Singh passed an restraining order against Singh from disposing of the jointly owned property and her personal belongings including ‘Stridhan’.

“The Applicant (Wife). aged 38 years, is filing the instant petition under section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 (PWDV Act 2005) against the Respondents, seeking protection orders and other reliefs against the atrocities committed by the Respondents”, News18 published.

The couple were in relationship since year 2001 and got married after 10 years in year 2011. She has accused Singh of physical abuse from the day of Honeymoon. She has also alleged that Singh was hiding his marriage and publicly introduced her in year 2014.

Shalini has said in her complaint that Singh behavior was inappropriate for her when he was facing trouble in his career, and said “rude, brash, aggressive, contemptuous and disrespectful”. She has also alleged that, Singh was not wearing the wedding ring and also had “casual relationship with multiple woman”.
