Jharkhand CM announces prize money for 2021 Olympic winners, Gold winner will get 2 Crores

The news of utmost happiness for the Olympians from Jharkhand is pushing them to perform with competitiveness and bang the gold for India.

Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren has announced the grand prize of 2 crores for gold medal winners in Olympic 2021, who are from Jharkhand, representing India.

On Saturday in a virtual meet with the participants of Olympians from state, the CM Hemant Soren applauded the confidence and their strong determination towards their sportsmanship. During his interaction CM announced Rs 2 crores will be given to the players winning gold medal whereas Rs 1 crore and 75 lakhs will be given to those who will win silver and bronze medals respectively.

“According to the new sports policy of the sports government, players bringing gold medal for the country will be given reward money of Rs 2 crore, Rs 1 crore for silver and Rs 75 lakhs for bronze medal”, said the Chief Minister, Hemant Soren.

CM during the virtual meet he also praised the women sportsperson for grabbing medals for India. During his meet he congratulated Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat and Komalika Bari who grabbed gold at ongoing World cup at Paris. And announced the reward of 50 lakh for Deepika and 20 lakh each for Ankita and Komalika. Coach Purnima Mahto to also get the prize money of Rs 12 lakh who always guided like a pro.

In his interaction he also said that our players will always perform even better in future and he further added that from now if any player gets qualified for the upcoming Olympic then state government will pay Rs 5 lakh as an incentive to the player.
