Tamil Nadu, woman allegedly murdered her ex-husband and then cut his body into pieces. The incident took place recently and the accused woman was arrested by the police.

According to police sources, the victim, Jeyandhan, reportedly residing with his sister in Nanganallur and worked as ground airport personnel in Chennai. On March 18, he reportedly left the house and told his sister that he was going to his hometown, Villupuram.
The police said that from voice recordings and other evidences that the victim had gone to Pudukkotta to meet the woman, G Bakkiyalakshmi. Bakkiyalakshmi was a sex worker in the past and had reportedly met Jeyandhan several years ago in a hotel in Tambaram.
Upon questioning Bakkiyalakshmi, the police found her statements contradictory, and she later confessed killing him.
A senior officer said that Bakkiyalakshmi and the victim were married at a temple a few years ago before they eventually divorced. Jeyandhan met Bakkiyalakshmi on March 18, and after an altercation, she killed Jeyanthan and dismembered his body with the assistance of two companions. She reportedly dismembered the body, packed the pieces in a plastic bag, and brought them to Kovalam, where she dumped them. The police are still trying to gather more details about the incident.
The woman reportedly told the police that she went to the spot twice, once on a bus and once in a rental cab, to dump the body parts. The incident has shocked the local community and raised concerns about the safety of people in the area. The police have launched a probe into the matter and are trying to gather more evidence.
