A heart-wrenching incident as come to light from Surat, Gujarat where a female caretaker pulled the hair of an 8-month-old girl and brutally threw her on the bed. The girl first cried and then calmed down. After this the girl was admitted to the ICU in the hospital.

The family has also installed CCTV camera, as they observe that child kept crying under the care of the said woman.

Both the parents of the child are employed

The girl’s family lives in Rander Palanpur Patia, Surat. The girl’s both parents are employed, so they hired a caretaker to look after their children. However, the couple installed a CCTV camera in their house after their neighbors informed them that their baby girl cries in their absence.

The camera captured the incident of the caretaker brutally thrashing the child. In the video, she is seen repeatedly hitting the girl’s head against the bed. She is also seen twirling her hair and slapping her mercilessly.

After the incident came to light, the parents lodged a police complaint and the woman was taken into custody. The girl’s father Mitesh Patel has lodged a case of attempt to murder against the accused at Rander police station in Surat.

According to the police, the accused had been married for five years, but had no children. While talking to a private media channel, the girl’s grandmother Kalaben Patel said that the accused KomalChandalkar was hired three months back. Komal initially took good care of the children. However, doubts arose when the children kept crying under his care. After this, the matter came to light when incidents relatives installed in CCTV cameras.
