The upcoming film ‘Yeh Mard Bechara’ has been a talk of the town ever since the trailer was launched. The movie is all set to entertain audiences on International Men’s Day I.e on November 19, 2021. This movie is special in itself as it is a comedy film and male-centric.  The movie is based on the theme “how Stereotypes make a man helpless.” This movie is a small attempt to break the stereotypes related to masculinity.

In the film, Seema Pahwa is playing the role of the mother-in-law of her daughter Manukriti Pahwa, which will be very interesting to see in the film.

The sole purpose of this movie is to shift the dynamic of the film industry towards men and the issues related to them. Film’s director Anuup Thapa while talking about the movie said, “Our film ‘Ye Mard Bechara’ talks about the notions and societal pressure that a man goes through. He is always been looked upon for many things.”

“Our film will portray the struggle of men from a feminist point of view. I’m glad that we have the support of a talented cast like Seema Ji, and her daughter is starting her journey with us, so it’s a win-win situation for us,” he said in an interview with ANI.

It is heartbreaking that very few people know about International Men’s Day and even celebrates it as enthusiastically as women’s day. That’s why the movie’s director Anoop Thapa decided to release the movie on International Men’s Day and wished to spread awareness about International Men’s day.

“A man doesn’t need to be muscular, emotionally strong, overpowering others, and being up for fighting. Thus we decided to come up with this film, and we launched our poster on this auspicious day.”, said the film’s producer Shivam Aggarwal.

The movie ‘Ye Mard Bechara’ is set to be released on Big Screen.
