South-Indian star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away at the age of 46

Shocking, Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar passed away at the age of 46 due to a heart attack. Due to the death of the actor, there has been a wave of mourning in the film industry. Puneet Rajkumar had worn different hats such as a playback singer, TV presenter, producer.

Puneeth Rajkumar was known for his contribution to Kannada cinema. He was the lead actor in 29 films. As a child artist, he worked in many films. He will be remembered for his performance in the films Vasantha Geetha, Bhagyavantha, Chalisuva Modagalu, Eradu Nakshatragalu, Bettada Hoovu and was highly appreciated.

He received the National Award for Best Child Artist for his role in Rin amu in the film Bettada Hoover. Fans used to affectionately call Puneet Rajkumar as Power Star, Appu. He presented the game show Kannadada Kotyadhipati. Puneeth is one of the highest-paid actors of Kannada cinema.

Puneet’s father’s name was Rajkumar and his mother’s name was Parvathamma. Puneet’s parents were from a film background. Mother was a producer and distributor. His father Rajkumar was a legendary singer and actor of Kannada cinema.
