Manjit Kaur, a con woman from Malout a town of Mukatsar district, Punjab has become a point of discussion she apparently married three men at different times.
A case has came in light that a woman married with three men and then flees with the valuables. All the three husbands were unaware of her fraud.
“She is a professional con artist who has a team. They target families that are not well-off and hence can’t pursue the case later. Manjit first married Kala Singh from Burj Hari village of Mansa in May 2018, left him within a month and fled with valuables. She then married Balwinder Singh of Fazilka and then my brother in November 2019. She fled both times with valuables”, Joginder Singh, brother of one of the victims said at a press conference on December 07, 2021.
“I’ll get the matter probed and whosoever is found guilty, action will be taken against them as per the law,” said Ajay Maluja, Bathinda SSP.
Forty years old, Manjit Kaur is accused of demanding money from the men and if they failed, she ended up threatening them. When all the three victims went to the police to file the complaint against her, the police has assured action against wrong doers.
