In broad daylight, a Cooperative bank employee was murdered in his house.
An incident that happened in Prem nagar located in Chainpur police station area of the Gumla district of Jharkhand has shaken people to the core. Nityananda was originally a resident of Tigaval Dadtoli in Chainpur and was working in a cooperative bank and shifted here a few years back.
The cause is still not known, but love affair may be a reason behind the murder. It is believed that unidentified criminals stabbed Nityanand Mahato with a knife and he died on the spot itself.
The incident was reported to the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached Prem Nagar and took the dead body into custody. The body was lying in the courtyard of the house. The accused has absconded after committing the murder. Police are looking for the accused. The incident site is just three km away from the police station.
The accused was murdered by entering the house and fled from the spot. Nityanand Mahato lived in a rented house in Prem nagar located at Chainpur block headquarters.
