Wednesday, Mahesh Nagar Police, Jaipur arrested a BDS student allegedly demanding Rs 5 Lakh in rape case to change her statement.

The BDS student planned the trap with her boyfriend who has also completed BDS study. From sources, initially the girl came near to the businessman and tried to extort money, and later she filed rape case.

Mahesh Nagar Police station in-charge Balram said that the girl Pragati Choudhary was studying BDS at. College located at Ajmer Road and she is originally from Rewari. Dainik Bhaskar reported.

In-charge Balram also informed that, Pragati filed the complaint on 10 Dec last year, on the other side the businesses had also filed a case of extortion and fraud on her.

In the matter, after filing the case of rape, Pragati and her boyfriend again come in contact with the businessman and the demanded Rs 5 five lakh to change her statement.

Pragati also made an agreement, that if the businessman gives five lakh rupees, she will give 164 statements in front of the magistrate in favor of the businessman.

On 16 Dec, after the agreement, she took two and a half lakh rupees from the businessman as the earnest money.

After the agreement, Pragati and his boyfriend started calling the businessman and his wife for the remain amount. Which the victim businessman recorded it. They also have the Pragati’s boyfriend message demanding the money.

Police arrested Pragati after their investigation and presented her in the court, from where she was sent to jail, while her boyfriend Shakti Singh is absconding in the case.
