Tej Pratap will pay Rs 22,000 every month to his wife Aishwarya

Tuesday, the family court ordered Tej Pratap to pay every month Rs 22,000 to his wife Aishwarya as maintenance allowance.

The divorce case of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, was heard in the family court on Tuesday, in which the court has ordered interim maintenance allowance to Aishwarya.

According to the order, Tej Pratap will have to pay a monthly amount of Rs 20,000 for interim maintenance allowance to his wife. The court has also ordered to pay additional 2 lakh rupees for legal expenses.

The Patna Family Court has given this order on the maintenance application filed by Aishwarya Rai in September 2019. She told the court that she was expelled from her house by her in-laws. It was also told that Tej Pratap lives apart from her. Jagran reported

This was also came in knowledge of court that, Tej Pratap has declared assets of Rs 2 Cr in 2015 assembly poll. He also has a BMW car and has invested Rs 25 lakh. In his income tax return, he has declared Rs 10 Lakh yearly income. Jagran reported

In the family dispute between Tej Pratap and Aishwarya, there has been multiple cases filed on each other and even former chief minister Rabri Devi name has also came.

Separations between spouses are full of complications, these cases run for years and at every stage, the matter send for mediation after consent of both parties. In 2016, Bench of Delhi High Court observed as;

“Many separations between spouses are full of complications. Instant case is of the kind. The appellant and his mother on the one side and respondent on the other side have got involved in multifarious litigations. It is rather unfortunate. They are unnecessarily wasting their time, energy and money.”
