Minister of Women & Child Development Maneka Gandhi contacted the senior officials of Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital and told to suspend the two nursing student Moutusi Mondal and Soma Burman, who are held for killing puppies.
The Minister who is also a animal right activist, discussed the matter with the officers of NRS.
The two students were arrested by Kolkata police, after the body of puppies found in front of the NRS hostel. The bodies were wrapped in plastic bag and the puppies were beaten till death which came preliminary investigation.
