CRPF Jawan bedridden fighting for justice, denied accessing his children

Mahendra Mani Pandey, a CRPF Jawan resident of Rampura, Allahabad (UP), has been bedridden due to his in-laws and wife. Now he is unable to maintain contact with his daughters, wife has taken them away from him.

Mahendra’s struggle did not stop here only, but in this critical health situation, he is struggling for even registering the FIR with proper sections.

Men’s Right Activist (MRA) said that, men become vulnerable in such situations and sometimes it becomes the matter of life and death. In the Matter Women’s, police avoid taking complaints from men, and the same has been seen in Mahendra case.

The incident started when he came to his residence on leave, and during the period he found his wife and Anil Kumar Shukla in objectionable situation. Anil Kumar Shukla is the husband of sister of Mahendra’s wife.

Then after, Mahendra’s wife rather accepting the truth, she gave threat to Mahendra for suicide and closed herself in a room, from where she called her relatives.

On 21st March 2018, her relatives came and they started abusing and beating Mahendra, so to save himself, he ran toward the roof as he failed to escape from the main gate. On the roof, the wife’s family also reached and they threw him from roof with the intention to kill him.

Mahendra was immediately taken to nearby hospital with the help of neighbors and there he was transferred to Trauma Center at Lucknow. In this accident, Mahendra’s back bone has been injured, and his treatment is still going on.

After Mahendra was hospitalized, his mother reached police to file the complaint but officers denied to file. Then they moved to court and filed a private complain to register the FIR. After the court’s order, police registered the FIR with normal charges and did not enforced the charges under the Attempt to Murder.

Then Advocate Rajeev Shukla of Allahabad High Court, helped him reaching high court for the relief, to register FIR under section 307 (Attempt to Murder).

HC ordered state police to investigate the case under the supervision of Superintendent Of Police, Allahabad.

I am also suffering the same and the police is ruthless about it. If police is such, then who can help.
I am also dying every second.
