Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan banned for upcoming three matches with fine: Dhaka Premiere League

Renowned Bangladeshi cricketer has showed some intolerable behaviour on the pitch due to which he is restricted to play three upcoming matches of Dhaka Premiere League.

Bangladeshi cricketer Shakib Al Hasan has been fined $5,800 by Bangladesh cricket board. As per the board the ban has been due to kicking over stumps intentionally in a wild reaction, to the umpires decision.

The match was ongoing between Traditional Rivals and Mohammedan sporting Club of Bangladesh. During this match Shakib appeal’s for leg before wicket (LBW), which was denied by the on field umpire. Unhappy with the decision, he kicked at the stumps, uprooted and threw them.

The action was taken on the spur of the moment and he was suspended along with the fine.

Shakib has also been former top ranker All-rounder and to the surprise the controversy is not strange for him. Apart from this he has also breached the bio secure environment of the DPL, which is meant to protect the players from corona virus.

Not only this but also in 2014 and 2019, he was suspended for six months and two years subsequently, just because of his attitude and lewd behaviour during the game.

Further he has also apologised for, “loosing his temper and ruining the match”.
